Problem with PayPal email field

When a customer pays via the PayPal plug-in, and selects to pay by credit card, the customers email address field just says 'Array', even though a valid email address is set up for the customer in Joomla/Hikashop.

Apologies I am still using 1.5.8 for my live website.
Is this something that is fixed in a later version?
Unfortunately it will take me sometime to upgrade.

Hi David,

1. I think that's probably coming from the Hikashop version that you are using, so you should probably update your Hikashop version.
2. Did you set the Send details of the order option to YES ?

1. My bad the Paypal option that was also important was the Customer address option, can you try it with this option set to a different value than "No Address" ?
2. If it's still not working, can you try it with the last version of Hikashop, we maybe already fixed this issue (it's currently working on my end).

Hi Mohamed,

As a temporary workaround, I have set the Customer Address to 'No Address' and this has helped by not displaying any values.
Unfortunately upgrading to the latest version of Hikashop (and Joomla) will take some time because of all the small changes I have made.
Tracking these down and re-testing the website will take time, but is something I have to improve otherwise I cannot upgrade easily.

Ok, but the problem can also be coming from other things like the modification of your address custom field for example, did you edited you custom fields ?
