Question on the USPS shipping plug-in.
I already have my HikaShop setup and running with the USP shipping plugin, which works just fine. Next, I installed the USPS plugin and entered my USPS WebTools User ID obtained from USPS. However, when I enable the plugin and try to check out an item from my shop, I get the following error codes:

Notice: Undefined Property: stdClass::$unit_price
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object
Notice: Undefined variable: usps_rates

Is there possibly a problem with some of my HikaShop settings?

Hi,

Can you give me a temporary access to your back-end through a private message for testing purpose ?

Hi,

I'm also getting the "USPS error: 80040b1a Authorization failure. You are not authorized to connect to this server.
Failed to obtain shipping quotes.
" error when I do it with your account, but it's working fine with my account, I think that you should contact USPS about this issue.

I contacted USPS and here’s their response - however, I don’t understand what they’re telling me to do:

The Authorization Failure you have been getting is more than likely the result of your Web Tools account .... not having been on our Production Server yet. I have updated your profile to allow you access.

1. The Production Server URL is: production.shippingapis.com . For APIs calling the secure server, the URL is secure.shippingapis.com .
2. There is a line of code that refers to "shippingapitest.dll". You'll need to remove the word "test".

Since you are using pre-developed software, should you require additional assistance in completing the activation process please contact the developer directly. I apologize; however, the USPS does not maintain information on configuring third party shopping cart software.

Permissions for verifying addresses and creating labels are added separately. Should you have an interest in obtaining these permissions please respond to this email and I will be happy to assist you. If you are uncertain as to whether your cart supports this functionality, please contact your third party software provider for clarification.

It seems like they updated your USPS account, so I tested it on my end and it seems to be working fine, can you test it through your website ?

Thanks, much better! Now it's showing selectable USPS shipping options. However, when I tested it, right up at the top I'm now getting two new error codes:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$unit_price in /plugins/hikashopshipping/ups/ups.php on line 651

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /plugins/hikashopshipping/ups/ups.php on line 651

I know very little about coding, but it looks like these have to do with the UPS plugin? Nothing should have changed in terms of UPS, so I'm confused!

I tested it through your website and I can't reproduce your problem, are you still getting this error message ?

Yes. :( I even registered as a new user from a different desktop, logged into the front end of my website, added an item to the shopping cart, then proceeded to checkout. On the checkout page, I'm still getting the following errors:

Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$unit_price in /plugins/hikashopshipping/ups/ups.php on line 651
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /plugins/hikashopshipping/ups/ups.php on line 651

Ok, Can you send me an FTP access then I'll probably be able to understand from where the problem is coming by checking your UPS files.
