Secondary product image alignment

HI,

Have been trying for hours without success........I know how to change the 2nd and 3rd product image sizes but when I do they loose their alignment...see attachment. Plus they are way over on the right side of the page rather than closer to the main product image. How do I align the secondary product images and move their alignment closer to the main product image?

I think I've figured out something that seems to work although I don't really know what I did. In general I have been having great difficulty in understanding how the layout is structured with css so that I can effectively work with it which is unusual. I will leave it for now. Thank you.
