Hi,

Is there a way to configure a wishlist without configuring any payment information? In other words I would like to use HikaShop in catalogue mode but with a wishlist.

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi,

You can easily configure that this way, in Configuration > Display > "Default parameters for products" disable the option "Display 'Add to cart' button" and enable "Display 'Add to wishlist' button"

Xvier,

Thanks for the prompt reply... that worked.

I now get:
Message
LOGIN_REQUIRED_FOR_WISHLISTS

The cart is empty

Is there any way to not show THE CART IS EMPTY?
Is there any way to provide a better message for the text LOGIN_REQUIRED_FOR_WISHLISTS?

Thanks,

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

How did you get these messages?
About the LOGIN_REQUIRED_FOR_WISHLISTS, just look for this message in your language file (System>Configuration>Language) and change the translation for it.
If it's not included, simply add:
LOGIN_REQUIRED_FOR_WISHLISTS="your message here"

Hi,

So why not use the default cart ?
Having a wishlist only for one session seems not very useful.
The cart can handle that. No need to be registered.
