Hi

I would like to ask you for help with three issues:

In configuration I switched for Product "Weight Display = Yes", and know, for some product (even in the same category) I need to show only pre "Price per Item/each" and for some other "Price per kg(weight)"

1. How Am I supose to do that for Product listing page (page where are products from one category)? + how could I show the name of the brand on this page? see the attached Price_screnshoot_1.jpg

2. How Am I supose to do that same for Product details page? see the attached Price_screnshoot_2.jpg

and

3. If is not possible to input any value for product, like a 0,55kg etc. etc. hwo could I setup/customize your shop to have for selected product(in various categories) some predefined weights and price for them. I mean for example:

I have got a meat product, and customer should select one option from rollout menu:

100g - 0,4 EUR
200g - 0,8 EUR
300g - 1,2 EUR
500g - 2,0 EUR
700g - 2,8 EUR
1000g - 4,0 EUR
1500g - 6,0 EUR

and put it in the cart, where will be the right price calculated.

Thank you in advance for you support.

Best regards Dominik

Hi Dominik,

1/2. I think you will be able to do most of these customization trough our view edition system (Display>Views).
The product listing use the view listing_div (or table according to what you chose in your module/menu). Just edit this view and add some php code to change the display according to the name of your product for example.

3. You can use the variant system to do this. Just create a characteristic named "weight" with your values and add it to your product. You will then be able to set a specific price for each weight.

Hi Eliot

1/2. And could you please help me with the code for my request please? Standard price is set for almost all products, but if some other products are sold base on their weight, we fill in the field "Weight" and then only the Price per KG(weight) should be published, so this is also default in Hikashop.

Could you please provide me with example

thank you
Dominik

Hi,

Firstly, you have to know WHEN your products must be displaid with a per KG price or a per quantity ? when they have a weight ?

Hi

I know it exactly. When I define in Back-end of shop the weight (first attached screenshot) I get two prices in Product detail page (second attached screenshot).
In this case (when i define weight for product) it have to show only the Price per kg(weight) in Product detail page and also in Page where are listed product from selected category.

thank you
best regards
Dominik

Ok so for the product page you'll have to change some parts of the listing_price file of the product view of your front-end template that you are currently using through "Hikashop->Display->Views", but I cannot help you more without at least a temporary access to your back-end.

Hi Mohamed Thelji

Regarding the access to back-end, it is o.k. to send you access credits and url using forum message system?

thank you
