Change characteristic drop box into other format

Hi everyone
two quick question.
1) as one of the characteristics I have in my product list is has lots of entry can I use csv file to import them into hikashop either with back end or with the PHP admin import feature?
2) can I change the characteristic from a drop down to anything else. Please note I have to set of them and I want only one to change the other one stays as a drop down.

Hi,

1. Sure, you can for example create a product manually with some variants, export your products through a CSV file, add your products and variants to this CSV fill and then import it.

2. There is no option to do that, so I think that this will require some code customization and development skill to do that.
