Hikashop Trade Account

Hi There,

I took over an account created in Joomla with the Hikashop plugin. With it, customers were able to create trade accounts, as well as pay by Paypal, Google Checkout, bank transfer or by cheque.

Now I've set up a new website which I'm developing at the moment and I've just got to the point where I need to set up payment. However, while I can see options for Paypal, Google Checkout, bank transfer and cheque, I can't actually see the payment plugin for Trade Account.

Has this been removed from the newer versions of Hikashop, or do I have to set it up somewhere else?

Hi,

There is no such plugin in HikaShop. It looks like a custom plugin that was made for your previous website specifically.
You can get the files of the plugin in the folder plugins/hikashoppayment/, zip them and then install the zip on the new website via the joomla installer and that should add it to your new website.

Hi Nicolas,

Yes I can see on the other website they're in plugins/hikashoppayment/tradeaccount, with 4 files (tradeaccount.php, tradeaccount.xml, tradeaccount_configuration.php and tradeaccount_end.php)

I tried zipping them up and installing them through the joomla installer but it said 'Unable to write entry'.

That's the first time I see that error.
Unfortunately, we cannot support extensions we didn't develop.
I would recommend to look for help on installing it via the joomla forums. For example:

Bizarre, since it can be enabled in the Hiakshop Payment Plugins page I had assumed it was an official plugin.

Maybe if I replaced the contents of a folder of say OKPay or something I'm not intending to use with the 4 files from my tradeaccount folder, it would overwrite that plugin? Or would you not recommend that as a good idea?

If that's not a good idea, really what I want is to be able to have (only certain) registered users be able to proceed buy a product then procced to the payment complete stage so we can supply them with an invoice that they can pay later.

If that makes sense, is that something Hikashop is capable of? As I said it's set up on our other website so must be a way!

In that case you can create a new instance of the bank transfer payment plugin, or the collect on delivery plugin, or the check payment plugin, or the western union payment plugin and just rename it.

Hi Nicolas,

So I've created an instance of the western union payment plugin and renamed it. Once I proceed through the payment process and select the option for Trade Account I get the message:

"Your order is now complete.
You can now transfer the amount of using the following information.

Do not forget to include the order number ( ) in the comments of the bank transfer so that we can match it to your order.
Thank you for your purchase."

I filled in the Bank account information box, so should that information not be populated in that message, as well as the order number?

so I've sorted this out myself, but I've noticed something else strange. When I look at my Orders, I can see that I have an Order Number for my test purchases, but the Invoice Number field in Main information is blank.

The invoice number is only filled when the order is confirmed (paid). So it's normal that this field is blank when the order status is created.
