How can I customise the product contact form?

How can I customise the product page contact form so that the name of the product is displayed?

It could also be nice to add some fields to the form.

I think that you'll find some information through this thread :

Well, nothing is impossible.
You can always customize the view and add the fields yourself and change the controller to handle the fields data and add them to the email.
But it will be far easier to use a contact form extension which is made to do exactly that.

I do have another extension for generel inquires on the web page. But for the products I like to use the integrated contact form in Hikashop.

The only thing I really need is that the name of the product is displayed. I know php, but I don't have time to study the code right now. Can you point me in the right direction - I need to know which view I should look at and which php variable I can grab the name of the current product from (it has to be remembered somewhere since the name of the product is written in the email that are sent).

You have to edit the view "product / contact" and then it's only html / css changes that need to be made.
