Is it possible to remove the word "/hikashop/" from the url in the internet browser when viewing a product. Now it appears everytime i view a product.

Hi,

You just have to edit the alias of your joomla menus.

it seems it only shows " /components/hikashop " when clicking trough a module. Obviously i renamed the module, but it doesn't change in the url of my browser.

Hi,

So you have to assign a menu which will rewrite the URL without "hikashop" into.
It depends on what is displaying, but for checkout and product listing, or user control panel, it is possible to "hide" it.
