-- url of the page with the problem -- :http://thehawaiiconcierge.com/joomla2
-- HikaShop version -- :HikaShop Busniness: 2.2.1
-- Joomla version -- :2.5.14
-- PHP version -- : 3.3.8.1
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox

I am having trouble setting up my cart. The site sells activity and tour tickets to travelers visiting Hawaii.

This is what I would like it to do.
The client can click on an island and then a category on the left (I have currently only set up the Maui menu as a hikashop menu)
Once the client clicks on the category It should take them to all of the products in that category which it does
The first problem that i am having is the hika shop menu only appears on the first page and I can't find where I can assign modules to the hikashop menu. I know it's possible because on this site www.gcmstores.com/ they do something similar to what I would like to do.

Next step: Once the client clicks on the actual product the details will be there along with a date picker and how many people will be attending plus an add to cart button.(please look at the Maui Bike Category as an example).

I also have different events that will have different rates for adults, teens and children. Do I add these as options or characteristics? I've read the documentation but I"m still very confused as to how this works. As an example, Is it possible for a client to order 2 adult tickets, one child ticket, and one teen ticket on the same page?

I thought I could integrate hika shop into my articles but another problem that i am having is that I have to have a date picker which means I can't use the "add to cart" in my article with a product tag. I have to actually use the product page. So...I will be cutting and pasting all of my articles into product pages. But before I do that I want to make sure that HikaShop will actually be able to do what I need it to.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

1. You'll be able to manage the displaying of your content module through "Control Panel->Module Manager->'YourModule'" by the using the options of the "Menu Assignment" section.
2. You should use characteristic then your customers will be able to choose what kind of tickets they want (adult/teens/...)
3. If you use the following plugins to add your products to your Joomla articles :
- Hikashop product TAG insertion
- Hikashop product TAG translation
you won't face any problem because instead of an add to cart button, you'll have a "choose option" button which will redirect you to your product page.

Sure, but can you give me more information about your module by :
- showing me some screenshots of how did you configured it
- giving me a link of where this module is showing and where you want it to show

Here are a few screenshots. In the first one you can see the module Maui Activities Hika and in the second you can see that there aren't any options available for assignments.

Thank you Mohamed. I'm about to give up on this :)

Hi,

In the module options, you have to click on the link "HikaShop options" to have the menu assignment and other parameters.

It's in the joomla options of the module. Click on the "joomla module options" on that screen and you will see them. It's a standard option of joomla for all the modules.
