product content module

Im using a hikashop product content module as a carousel to show my products. When clicking on a product it redirects to the productpage. which is all good so far, but when you try to add this product to the shopping cart it redirects to: "mywebsitename/index.php?Itemid=0" while i set the configuration to stay at the productpage. This only seems to be a problem when trying to add a product to the shopping cart after clicking on a product via the carousel module. How to solve this?

I want customers to be able to add a product (when they are on the productpage after clicking on a product in the hikashop carousel module) but when they do so they should Stay on the same productpage.

Hi,

Where this caroussel is displayed ?
The "stay on the same page" could not work when you are not in an HikaShop page because HikaShop can't be triggered that a product has been added to the cart.
If you have configured a wrong checkout menu in your HikaShop configuration it is possible that the user is redirected to a menu (for the checkout) which does not exists and create this problem.

We will need more details about your website to be able to tell you more and help you to fix this problem.
Your HikaShop version can be useful, a screenshot of your configuration and if possible, a link to your website.

The caroussel is displayed at the Homepage.

What do you mean with "when you are not in a Hikashop page", after clicking on the product in the caroussel, your redirected to the productpage of the product you clicked on (which is a Hikashop page right?).

Joomla version 3.1.1

Hi,

Okay, for most I understand (and I translated), what I see of your configuration, it looks good.
So I have to admit that with your second message, I don't understand anything of what you are talking about in your first message.
Can you explain it in a very simple way or simply provide a link to your shop so we can't take a look ?

i have a module which is by default called "Hikashop content product module".

I am using this module as a product caroussel. These products are clickable, when you click on a product in the caroussel you can view this product at the productpage.

After clicking on a product in the caroussel and you try to add this product to your shopping cart it REDIRECTS (it automatically send you) to the following URL: http://mywebsitename/index.php?Itemid=0

I want customers to STAY at the productpage.

Hi,

Did you tried to set the "After a product is added to the cart" option to Always stay on the same page through "Hikashop->System->Configuration->'Main'" ? if that doesn't fix your issue can you give us a link to your website so that we can directly test it ?
