Always checkout not working when cart module

Hi, I'm working with Hika 2.2.0 in Joomla 3.1.5.
I read multiple threads and still haven't discovered a solution to the following problem:

When adding a product to my cart, I want the website to always proceed to checkout. I set this in the backend configuration (double checked, it still is set this way). It works when I add a product to my basket which is loaded in a 'recent product' module. However, when I'm on a detailed product page (showing one product only) and I add an item to my cart, it stays on the same page. Even stranger: when I swich of my cart module, it does seem to work correctly and directly links through to checkout. To me it seems as if there is a conflict between the main backend configuration and a specific configuration which is enabled when the cart module is shown. However, I can't seem to fix it. I've tried different settings like opening a pop-up and that seems to be working fine. It just the 'always go to checkout' which is not working properly.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks to update your version of HikaShop to the latest v2.2.2
And can you try to disable the option "Use AJAX when possible for add to cart buttons"
