Different shipping prices for different suppliers

Hi,

At the moment I have three different shipping prices, depending on the amount of the order.
Is it possible to have diffverent shipping prices depending on the amount of the order and the type of product?
I have a supplier with high shipping costs and I want to separate the products of these supplier from the others.

Sure, you'll just have to use the "use price per product" option of your shipping method, and set different shipping price through the shipping price tab of each product page.

Mmmm what I want doesn't work

I have two different categories ( A and B ) with to different shipping costs.
When someone wants a product form categorie A and a product form categorie B he has to pay the shipping costs from both categorie A and categorie B.

For categorie A there are 3 shipping methods (depending on the order amount of categorie A products)
For categorie B there are 2 shipping methods (depending on the order amoun of categorie B products)

It seems that this doens't work this way.

The solution will be to use the same shipping methods for both categories, but set a different price per product regarding your product category through the shipping price tab of each product page.

I'm sorry but I don't understand it.

This is de situation at this moment. I have only category A products:
- Order amount between 0,00 and 25,00, shipping costs are 11,50
- Order amount between 25,00 and 75,00 shipping costs are 6,75
- Order amount from 75,00, shipping costs are free

I have three shipping methods, so the shipping costs are calculated automatically.

For category B products, it should be:
- Order amount between 0,00 and 35,00, shipping costs are 4,50
- Order amount from 35,00, shipping costs are free.

So also here, the shipping costs should be calculated automatically.

For example: when someone buys both category A and B products, it is possible that he have to pay twice the shipping costs, depending on the order amount of the category A and B products.

I hope you understand what I mean and I really hope that this is possible.

A solution can be to create :
- 3 shipping methods for your category A, use the price per product, and check the "BLOCKED" option for these shipping methods through the "shipping price" tab of each products of category B
- 2 shipping methods for your category B, use the price per product, and check the "BLOCKED" option for these shipping methods through the "shipping price" tab of each products of category A
- 1 shipping methods for your category A and B

The 5 first shipping method will only show if you just have products from the category B, or if you just have products from the category A, and the last shipping method will show for every products.

I can't just add a shipping method for category A and B with one price, because also then de shipping costs are depending on the order amount of the products from both category A and category B.
I now have the 5 first shipping methods you gave, but that gives the error from my second post when I want products from both category A and B.

When someone orders products form both category A and B then there should be selected automatically two shipping methods, but it seems that that isn't working?

How do you assign a product to a specific warehouse?
