Hi,

Yes it's possible.
In the hikashop options of your module, select the "image and description" item box layout. Then, in your product description, add a read more tag where you want the cut to happen.
On your module you'll see the part before the read more tag for each product.

Hi,

Go in the HikaShop configuration and check that the "read more" option is turned on. Then you should see that button.

in hikashop > product page > new: article, immage, read more buttons.

Think about it, a Joomla article is not the same as a HikaShop product description.
Would you really want another HikaShop product inserted into a product description? Would you really want a page break inserted into a product description? For both cases, I don't think so. I'd rather think it's a good thing that these buttons are missing in the product creation/edition pages.

In the settings for your content menus and modules, do you have "Show description" set to "Yes"?

Your first screenshot looks very weird, indeed. Wonder how you got that.

With what you have now, and getting to what you want to have (which is well possible, of course), I don't think you'll get there without you knowing and understanding first what causes the present weird appearance as well as then some PHP and/or CSS. Or, for anyone here to be able to help and guide you, a link to your site on-line.

Furthermore, and the above provided, I'd recommend to make this new issue a new topic in the forum where it belongs: "Product & Category Display" - instead of here under "Archives", which is obviously just a repository for rock-old threads.

Sorry, but as a side note, both I and my dictionaries don't know what you mean by "impostation".
