Hello,

I looked for information but could not find anything that solved this.

I have Hika Shop Essential

I am working on a site that offers tours for tourists, they tour is available one day a week. Is there a way to insert the "date Picker" plug-in on the front end as a "characteristic" so people can select the date of the month (limited to Saturdays) on the front end using this calendar plug-in?

Thank you very much for your valuable help!

Do you want the shopper to choose a tour date per item they purchase (enter date on product page) or just choose one date when they checkout (one date per order)?

Either way, you'll have the most flexibility to create the type of custom field you want with the Business Edition. It has the most custom field options, so it's well worth upgrading to Business.

Thank you for your reply.

Either would work.

Is there any other way to do it with the essential version?

We only use Business edition for all of our projects, so I'm not sure if you'll have either of these in one of the lesser editions. Look to see if you can add custom fields with a type of either "Item" or "Order". Item puts it into the product pages and Order puts it into the checkout. It requires one of those unless you want to get fancy with custom code.

Thank you very much! I guess this will require a few extra bucks...
