Hello guys! Hope everything good!

I have a question about brands!

So yeah i want to have a different filter in each category of products. But all the brands are in one folder. How can i put brands in categories? Such as a different category for electronics brands, a different bran category for cloths brands and so on.

Please help out!

Hi,

Brands are stored as categories in HikaShop ; so yes you can organize them in a tree if you want.
But I don't understand why you want to do that ; what you really want to achieve... And where.

Hello

I need them organised like that due to the filters. Each category of products has to have a different filter for brands. I don't want phone brands in the clothing brands filter. But the issue is that i can't find a way to work this.

Hi,

In that case, I would recommend to not use brands at all and instead create your brands tree as normal categories. You can keep the main category above your brands categories tree unpublished so that the brands don't appear on the normal categories listing.
That way, you'll be able to select the brands on the categories listing of your products and you'll be able to place filters on only some of them.
