Hey HikaShop
Is Geoloaction only for the business version of Hikashop?
My customer is not interested in the business version of HikaShop. Unfortunately she has a lot of costumer around in Europe which mean several different shipping methods for several different country's. Fortunately there is only 2 currencies.
The question is if Geolocation is needed if a customer from Germany want to chose a shipping method according to Germany instead of Denmark which is standard. I have already made the necessary restriction for the different shipping methods.
If Geolocation is not necessary is there any way I can test this.

Hi,

That's right, it's only in the Business edition.
Geolocation is not necessary to have different shipping methods for different countries since the zone restriction on the shipping methods bases itself on the customer's shipping address (and you can't fake that since otherwise, you won't receive your products).
So for the tests, it's really easy : just enter a shipping address with the country you want to test in your checkout and you should automatically see the shipping methods restricted to that country or the shipping methods not restricted to a zone.

It made things a lot easier.

oh wait another thing. Is it possible to have more than one currency on a shipping method or do I need to create another method?

Hello,

If you want more that one currency for a shipping method, the solution will be to create 2 shipping methods with different currencies and restrict them properly.
