-- url of the page with the problem -- : development
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.3
-- Joomla version -- : 3.2.3
-- PHP version -- :5.3.8
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox, Chrome &Safari

I'm rebuilding one of my sites with Joomla 3.2 and a RocketTheme template called Lexicon.

Rocket Theme has a way of using template overrides in a special folder within the template/html folder. They have a path like this:
html/joomla/3.2/ and if the template overrides are there the template works but Hikashop can't see them so Hikashop uses its default template.

If I save a new template override in Hikashop/Views it will save it in /html/com_hikashop and Hikashop tries to use it but then the template and site fails.

My question is if there is a setting somewhere where I can change for the Hikashop template overrides so I can get this to work.

I have many hours in my overrides and they are dependent fo rth eshop to work and look right.

Thanks

Yes I know but RocketTheme have made some stuff so it has to be in their folders /html/joomla/3.2/

So if the com_hikashop is located where it should be it doens't work, the rest of the template doesn't load then.
I've asked them too and wating for an answer. Might be a bug in the template.

Thanks

If they doesn't use the standard way of overriding views, it's normal that it doesn't work fine anymore. Changing that in HikaShop won't be simple, and specially not based on the template which is used.

If I have the overides in the supposed path i.e /html/com_hikashop some of the overrides work.

Like this list view:

When clicking on that item to get to the product view it looks like this:

If I move the com_hikashop folder to the /html/joomla/3.2 folder none of the overrides work and are not selectable from Hikashop so you can say that they don't work at all when placed there, Hikashop only shows the default templates.

So what is wrong here? Is there something with my override files? I have to check this out some more, they have all worked in my old setup with another older non responsive RocketTheme template.

Have you done some changes to the Hikashop templates since they now are responsive, I think my old overrides are from back when Hikashop was at version 1.6

Comparing the files I have which are from version 1.5.6 I see that a lot has happened with the latest ones.

Most probably my problem is in there somewhere and I have to recreate my overrides from the new source files.
