-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.1 Starter
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.4.45
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 44.0.2
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : 404 - Page Not Found after clicking link

I built the original site about 4 years ago and haven't looked at it in at least 3.5 yrs. At some point it started getting a bunch of errors (creating default object from empty value) and some product not found errors but no one bothered to let me know, so when I discovered the problems, decided it was time to upgrade the J1.5.26-Hikashop 1.5.5 site to latest versions.

The upgrade went well and all the above errors disappeared... all but one. I had some links to product pages inserted in Joomla articles. I'm sure they must have worked at some point because I never would have created all those links if they didn't, but now they return Page Not Found errors. I'm getting these in the upgraded test site linked to this post as well as the original website.

Isn't there a way to do that? I couldn't find any posts that seemed to address the issue. It's been so long since the sight was created, i can't even remember how I came up with the links in the first place.

Thanks,
Ed

Hi,

If the links are wrong in the Joomla article, I don't see much solution besides changing them manually.
And if you do, I would recommend to use the content product tags:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/1...-product-insert.html
That way, regardless of how the links get generated in the future, the links will always work as they'll be generated dynamically when displaying the articles.

That was too easy. I apologize for taking up your time on this.

I've been away from site development for too long and should have searched more for the solution. The plugins were enabled and I actually did try the Product Button link in the article, but must have missed the Link to Product Page check box.

Thanks again for such a great product!
