Custom field for Gift Wrap adds to price

Hello,
I have searched ont he forums and see some solutions but they are over 5 years old and I'm not sure are valid anymore.

I have products that my clients wishes to include an option to add gift wrapping to the product when purchased.

I have created a custom dropdown field with the two options:

No Gift Wrap
Gift Wrap (+£1.50)

How can I add this additional price to the product value if a customer select the Gift Wrap option from the dropdown?

Thanks for the reply, I did eventually think about that as a solution later that evening!

Now I have the option setup as you suggest the Category display page now displays as so:

cotsperfumery.under-development.info/sho...ne/ladies-fragrances

This has removed the Add to cart option with the button to selelct options. Is it possible to have the category page show products with the option as a dropdown AND the quantity / add to cart button?

I have a follow up question. I have my product setup:

I now have three variants, of different volume / price. And the option to add Gift Wrap.

The volume is a Characteristic of three different volumes of product.

The Gift wrap is a separate product, defined with two charactierstics one with a price increase. This is added as an option to the 'main' product.

However, now when I add a prodict to the cart, it also adds the gift wrap product and shows 2 products in the cart. Even if I have selected no gift wrap (which is no charge).

My question is how can I 'remove' the second gift wrap 'product'from being shown in the cart / checkout process as a separate item and bundle this price increase with the original product?
