Category order

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.6.2
-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.11
-- PHP version -- : 7..4

We have several product Categories display on the front end.
So for Beans it is in name order and this applies to all the other categories.
However we have a New product category which we prefer to have in Date order, new ones first.

Can't see how to achieve this.

Hi,

The ordering of the products can configured for each menu item under its "products options" tab when editing it in the Joomla menu manager.
So the question is how to access that category ? Supposing you'll create a new menu item for that category, you can just set the "ordering column" to "product_created" and the "ordering direction" to "descending" under its "products options" tab and it will list the latest products first.
