-- HikaShop version -- : 4.6.2

Hello,
I have a number of categories within HikaShop.

I have duplicated tjhe product/listing_img_title.php file to try and create and create an override to change the display of just this category.

In my menu settings for the category (see attached screesnhot) I have selected my template over ride file.

However nothing is changing on the frontend.

Help! How can I create a different layout for a specific HikaShop category?

Lee

Hi,

This setting is under the "categories options" tab so it's for the display of the sub categories of that "Gift and course vouchers" category. You have the same setting under the "products options" tab for the products of that category.

Now, I'm not sure which part you're trying to change where. Could you provide more precise information ? Like a screenshot of the page where you want to do the change, pointing at the area you want to change.

Nicolas,
Thanks for the reply. I'll try and give more detail!

This is my site so far:

cotsperfumery.under-development.info/shop-online

The grid of six are main root categories that then click through to the category products. I have modifed the layout for the product page for the main fragrance pages. However this now affects all the other category pages. I need to include additional information on these category pages that is not shown on the fragrance pages.

I thought I could simply copy the product/listing_img_title.php file, and rename it and then have that selectable as an option in the backend somewhere for a category to use.

Does that makes sense? :-)

Hello,

Unfortunately, and sorry for this return but it remains insufficiently clear, let me guide you so that your need is clear to us.
Step by step :
1. Provide us the url link where you want to modify the display
2. Complete the previous element with a screenshot, in which the part to be edited/modified red bordered
3. Details what you want to add/modify (dynamic data per product, common text, etc)

Sorry again for this return and awaiting your element to progress on your subject.
Regards
