Layout product listing old en new version

Hi you all,
We had a nice layout for our product listing pages in Joomla 3.
Now we are migrating to Joomla 4 (finally). But the layout is not so nice anymore.
The layout type we used is deprecated (and still doesn't look the same anymore), (image and description (deprecated)).

I'll send 2 attachements to show the difference. I tried to change some of the products options, but still didn't get the result I was looking for.
I simply don't know where to start fixing this. Can someone help me?

Hi,

The "image and description (deprecated)" is still available with the latest version.
However, we recommend you switch instead to the "image and description" item layout.
I checked your link and I can see you're actually using the "image and title" item layout at the moment.

Did you try the "image and description" item layout ? What is the result with it ? Could you switch to it so that we could look at the situation on your listing with it ?

I also tried the deprecated layout ( elsbeth.org/cruxtest/outdoor/canyoning ).
It looks the same as the image and description ( elsbeth.org/cruxtest/outdoor/sportklimmen-nieuw ). I changed this one to image and description.

That is way less information on this page (only displayed when you navigate to the specific course.
I like the picture on the left with the button and a little bit of information on the right. So not the complete description.

Hi,

On the left side, the text comes from a custom product field. If you don't want it to appear on the listings, you need to turn off the display setting for the product frontend listing in the settings of the custom in Display>Custom fields.

On the right side, it's the description. Normally if you don't want it full on the listing, you need to add a "read more" tag in the description where you want the cut off to be made on the listing.

It seems you must have made an override of the old "image and description" view file.
