Several products in same category need combination price

In my shop I have the following situation:

A customer is ordering some products in the same category, but with different colors. Let see the product is a named 'label A'in the colors Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White. IF you order one box of label the price is € 49,50 if you order 3 or more the price is € 47,50 per box.

For the serveral colors I made different product and product number. On purpose I didn't used variation because this will not show nicely in the product overview. You only see then one color and not alle availible color.

The staffel price is working per color, but supose a customer is buying:
1 box of red,
4 boxes of green
1 box of blue
1 box of white

On this moment is is calculation 1 box of red á € 49,50 + 4 boxxes of green á € 47,50, 1 box of blue á € 49,50 and one box of white á € 49,40 = € 338,50

How can i achieve that I frst see the count of teh boxes in the same category (label A) and calculated the prices based on that. This means 7 x € 47,50 = € 332,50

Is this possible with Hikashop?

Hi,

You could do it with variants by simply setting the prices in the main product. The system would automatically calculate the total number of variants of the product and use the main product prices based on their "min quantity" and that total number.
Did you try changing the variants look on the product page ? If you set the "characteristics selection method" to "list", you will get a listing of variants of the product page. So it would act as a products listing, and the main product would act as a category.

Doing the same with products from a category is not something supported by default in HikaShop. Maybe AWOCoupon would allow you to do this, but I'm not sure, you would have to check with the developer of the extension:
