In tabular view : how do I disable the Specifications tab

Using Hikashop Starter

In Starter version, I cannot make custom fields in the product table, hence the Specifications-tab on the product page in tabular view remains empty.

How do I disable the Specifications tab in the backend interface / configuration?

Hello,

Unfortunately the Product custom fields isn't possible with the Starter version (free), as you can see in our Compare page .

Now, the fact that your specification tab is display, while there is nothing to display is strange, can you provide more elements in order to allow us to better understand the situation, can you process a test with a default template (Cassiopeia for J4 or ProtoStar for j3) and make your returns if that change something or not
=> And please, be specific on your returns.

I processed a test with:
- Cassiopeia J4
- all default in Hikashop configuration for Front-end CSS File and Styles for the front-end. No other customizations
- disabled all installed plugins ( which is just one: SP Pagebuilder v4.0.10).
- the product is a variant product

The problem remains.

Processed the test with browsers:
- Micrsoft Edge version 113.0.1774.42
- Google chrome version 113.0.5672.127
- Opera version: 98.0.4759.39
- Firefox version 113.0.1 (64-bits)

The empty Specification-tab is only visable in the "Layout on product page" is set to Tabular.
When set to Default or Reversed only the description is visible, no tabs at all.

The view is in the default component position of Cassiopeia.
