Comprehensive sales listing

Hi all

We are selling books and need to be able to present our suppliers a comprehensive listing covering the sales over a period of time. The report needs to be grouped by "publisher" which presently is a custom product field. I guess we probably could use brands to indicate the publisher if that makes things easier.

What we are looking for is basically to be able to report to each publisher the sales over the last month, as detailed as possible, so that the publisher may invoice us for the due amount.

I have been trying to figure out how to get such a list out of hikashop but I fear it is not possible without some custom work. I would be very happy to get some help finding a solution.

Hi,

There are several ways to go about it.

The best is to have HikaMarket Multivendor and one vendor per publisher ans assign each product to its vendor. That way, you can easily see the sales of each vendor and they can even connect to your website to look at them themselves if you allow them that. That way, it's all automated for you.

An alternative is to create one unpbulished category per publisher and add the publisher category to each product as a second category. Then, with the report tool (menu Orders>Reports) you can create one report per publisher and restrict the report to only the category of the publisher. It's a bit more work but that should give you what you need too.
