Order Created even if PayPal payment cancelled

I have installed the standard PayPal Payment Plugin as the Express one won't work as we need to limit to certain postcodes that are only checked through the later stages of checkout.

If a user checks out and goes to pay with PayPal and then cancels from the PayPal screen then an Order Creation email is sent which can confuse the store employees. I have set the Invalid Status and Pending Status to Cancelled but orders are still being "Created".

Is it possible to only send the order creation email on "Confirmed" status?

We also use the eWay payment plugin and this functions correctly - the Order Creation email is only sent on "Confirmed" status.

Hi,

To not have the order created email, you have to go to System > Emails and disable the mail "Order admin notification".
Regarding the order confirmed email, we don't send this kind of emails, it's the payment platform which is sending the payment status.

If you really want an HikaShop email for confirmed status, you can search on the forum, I have posted a plugin which allow that.
