Mismatched Tag Error on Checkout

Using - eway plug in. Error produced when "finish" control pressed. also using Akeeba "Admin tools".

Eway advise they are are not receiving any information in their system from the transaction.

Hello,

Can you provide some elements, like :
- Plugin configuration screenshot ?
- Switch your the Debug mode to yes and see if you have some elements in your log file
- Check if all elements are set in your checkout like address, credit card, etc...

Hi,

The error message "mismatched tags" is coming from the eWay payment platform.
You should contact directly the eWay support in order to have more details about the source of that issue.
The plugin do not have errors ; it just display what the payment gateway replied.

Hi,

I highly doubt that this is the case. There is no scenario I can see in which the eway plugin wouldn't contact eway and it would display that error. That error message is displayed because that's what the payment gateway is sending back to HikaShop when it contacts it.
In fact, I searched a bit and found someone else with the same error message and it was a problem in their eway profile:

So you might want to check on that.

Thanks for all your assistance. Eway Europe not Australia) have pointed out error in plug configuration. Should use customer ID not API.
